Hello!

Well, I'm going to have a busy coupla months coming up. The county fair is in just a week, soon followed by school (College freshman and terrorfied) and Art in the Park, a local annual event where artists can set up booths and sell their work. I hope to get some of my newest works up soon!

Don't worry, your first year of College will be a fun one. I was nervous like no other my first few weeks but once I got my classes down it felt like any other school. Just with more freedom and cooler people.

Are you going to have a booth at Art in the Park? I was thinking about trying to get a spot, or splitting a booth with someone since I hear its a little expensive. If you would like to split a booth with me that would be awesome, I love your artwork.

Anywho talk to you later.

yep, I've got a booth, but I'm sorry, I;m already splitting with Colton. It's actually not that expensive; I think it's 15 or twenty, and you'd get some major exposure. Have you ever considered joining Sandhills Art Association? you get into AITP, the juried art show and all sorts of other stuff for free or half price. If you do decide to do AITP, let me know! I'd love to check it out!

I realy appreciate all comments, but please, I beg you; make them to the artwork, not the forum!
I understand and I will check out your booth, haha I will probably buy half of your work. =)

Who do I need to contact to join the Sandhills Art Association? I should probably join seeing as how I want to be a professional artist someday.

If its not really that expensive then I will definitely get a booth at AITP. All that is left is registering. :w00t:

there's a meeting the first Monday of every month. You just show up and if you like it, you fill out a form and pay $5, and that's it. Colton and I are in it, and although we're the youngest ones there by about 35 years, I really enjoy it. Every month you can bring some pieces to show, and your name is put into a drawing for $25. And the best part? you get to hang up your art work in the gallery in the Commerce Bank on mainstreet. And if you sell something, you get to keep all of it, no commission taken out. You should really think about it!

Heh! Well, good! I really hope to see you there!
