I took several of my pieces to a gallery today, since it's my yurn to be featured from my atr club. It's at the back of the bank. As I had forgotten to bring tape and a marker for a sign, I went to a young woman at a desk and asked her, "I need to attach this sign to one of my pictures. May I borrow a marker and tape?" She looks at me for a minute like I'd asked for a purple puppy, before replying, "Um, you aren't allowed to draw on those walls with a marker."

WTF??!!

Ok, 1: where on earth did she get that from and
2. What do i look like? an elementary school kid?

it gets better. I repeat and re explain it to her 3 times. Each time, she mixes it up different, thinking i want to take the sign to the wall, draw on my picture, and write my name on the wall.
